QuoteYour very welcome :)   Altho when I've phoned them before they've said that those seats weren't on sale - I've asked them to go check with their manager and suddenly they are on sale! :?

We desperately want to go in December - but can't find any travel insurance that would cover us in the event that we either courldn't get to Ebbsfleet because of snow or the Eurostar stops running because of the snow???  Have you managed to find any travel insurance to cover you in the event of the snow?? Thanks :thumbs:

Cool, didn't get chance today but I will definitely call them tomorrow, if they're open.

Just checked my Travel Insurance with 'More Than'. It says this under the cancellation and curtailment clause:

"You abandoning Your Trip following the cancellation of or a delay of more than 12 hours in the departure of Your outward international flight, sea-crossing, coach or train journey, forming part of the booked Trip's itinerary, as a result of Strike or Industrial Action (of which You were unaware at the time You booked the Trip), adverse weather conditions, or the mechanical breakdown of, or accident of, the aircraft, sea vessel, coach or train."

So to me, that looks good. Here's the policy booklet on their website:
//https://travel.morethan.com/Content/Documents/More%20Than%20Policy%20Booklet.pdf

If you do go with More Than, go through Quidco. The cost of my travel insurance was £21 and I got £20 cashback so it's cost me £1! (If you're not registered with Quidco I can recommend you and we both get some more money!!).

Oh my - that is cheap! :thumbs:   And it means that a DLP Christmas is a distinct possibility.  Do you have to ring Eurostar to get a quote for travel insurance or do you do it on line somwehere???  Eurostar may not cover me as I have pre existing health conditions - but definitely worth looking into if it means my dream of a DLP Christmas just might come true! :D/

We get the Eurostar insurance too as they do a good one parent family deal. If you are thinking of going christmas one bit of advice would be if you don't get the Disney Express and there is snow you may end up having to walk to your hotel with your case! At christmas 2010 the snow was pretty bad when we were there and we saw plenty of people having to wheel their cases through a foot of snow as the buses weren't running! Don't like the idea of that so we always include the Disney express.

Thanks :thumbs: We always use Disney Express on the return journey as for 11 Euros a room I don't think you can go wrong!  Will see if I can work on DH - armed with my new found knowledge! Thanks :thumbs:

We booked through Eursotar, so don't get the Disney Express included.  I am not sure that we will bother.

I was wondering as well, it says on the DLRP Eurostar bit 'Once on-board, kids will get a free top-quality activity pack, whilst Disney Cast Members will be on hand to answer any questions and give tips for your visit'....

Do ALL children get this pack?  I would hate my daughter to see other children getting it, and not her just because we didn't book through Disney.

We go from St Pancras and rather than get them on the train there is a desk where you can just go and pick one up, as you go through the passport control bit its to your right. Dylan always picks up a couple so that he can give his little cousins one when he gets home and nobody bats an eyelid ;)

We travelled from Ebbsfleet on 5th June and a member of Eurostar staff went round handing them to what appeared to be all children regardless of who they booked with.
