Quote from: "raptor1982"DynastyGo reports on Disney Central Plaza that the set dressing inside the buildings has started!  Curtains and signs have been added behind the windows of the buildings.

And Grandmath shares on the same Board that benches have been installed on the Blvd today.

Great news, it's so good to hear that they are adding all of the small finishing touches that give it that special Disney quality. I can't wait to see this complete :)

This is worthless without pictures  :P
But the boardings will go down one of these days? The ToT boards are already down.....just a little step to pulling down the rest

What I love most about those windows (from several photos posted earlier) is seeing the reflection of Studio 1 in them, on a sunny day at least... About the only thing which proves to me this really is WDS we're seeing each day.

Also can't wait to sit on those benches and listen to the music... Maarten, I agree what you said a few pages back about Sunset Blvd loop here, and the more "floaty" and elegant Hollywood Blvd loop over in Theater District, that'd be perfect. They should also change Disney Bros Plaza to use the Sunset loop, rather than the Animation one.

The "Boulevard" is really nicely done. (Managed to get a good view   )

Don't expect too much though. It's more a courtyard than a "boulevard". But the details are nice... and there's a lot to discover.

I guess this was already mentioned, but this will be not the 1930's and 1940's Hollywood like in Florida - our version is set in the 1950's to complement the story of the abandoned 1930's hotel next door.

That makes sense
I can't wait to see the first overall picture on how it all fits in together!

Details are even spreading to advertisements in the windows, just like Main Street USA!

I googled Laurel Canyon and it's a residential area near Studio City, Hollywood. :)

They chose a great day for it!!

Haha, I love the ladder under the STT entrance... great details! That entrance looks brilliant now though, they've finished it off very neatly.

Apart from the nasty mix of flat concrete and tarmac in different colours in the middle of the area (which does detract from the gorgeous buildings, unfortunately), it looks STUNNING. A small and compact area it might be, but wow - they've packed so much in.

There is some change in ground level though, take a look at this spectacular photo:

Beautiful tiled floor, lovely planter, gorgeous neons - this could be DLP/TDS quality!

Along with the fire hydrants, there are also newspaper vending machines and "Hollywood" trashcans! They've really tried to make it realistic:

This biggest "wow" - a mini Pin Trading shop!

Not quite a "department store" though... haha

I am amazed! It actually looks better than I thought it would be. Before I thought the area looked a little cramped but now the fences are down it looks great! Not too cramped and not too open :)

I think the best details are the props in the windows - They're the sort of details that WDS really needs! I also like the area around the information board - The plants and the details on the path and walls look absolutely incredible! The Imagineers really have done a fantastic job with this! :D

Now we've just got to wait for Tower Of Terror :D

Detailed, spacious, well themed, beautiful, Disney! Now we're talking.

I actually can't think of many words to describe it, I'll just use  :o    :D
