Cheshire cat just looks plain freaky (how they are going to get Stephen Fry's voice to work with that i'll never know).

Actually the Chesire cat seems to be based on John Tenniel's original illustrations of the Cheshire Cat .
I love it! For me the story is very dark and twisted! I remember when reading the books as a kid, being actually afraid of this place.
The teaser trailer is very teasing and got me very excited. I have total faith to Burton and the whole cast is great! I'm sure he will depict all this twisted darkness cause that's what the story is. At least that's the way I see it.

:cry: OMG I'm so happy! The Cheshire Cat is ADORABLE! Yes, it looks incredibly sinister at the same time, but it's also insanely cute! I couldn't be happier. And to think, STEPHEN FRY is gonna be voicing him. This trailer is made of win.

I think it might be because of Tron Legacy, but the anticipation levels for this aren't as high as they really should be.
Plus, there's a little voice inside my head screaming 'Remember Willy Wonka'.
I enjoyed Tim Burton's version (apart from the god-awful Oompa Loompa), and I'm kinda worried as a result.
Does Messers Burton and Depp have any plans to twist, distort or possibly even ruin any other of my childhood memories ?? Star Wars perhaps, or Bagpuss ??  :?

I think it looks fantastic. I've yet to see a Tim Burton film that I didn't like, so I have no doubts that this film will be awesome. With Tim Burton in charge, and with so many decent actors involved, how can it NOT be good?

o.o As far as I know that's more than a rumour. I've known about it for a while, and I'm pretty sure that I read it in the same place I read about why Alice goes back to Wonderland, etc. So it could well be true.

Just adds to the creepiness I think.
