Quote from: "Martyn"I dont think the actual ride part is all that good. Over too quickly in my opinion. But the queue, and everything leading upto it is amazing, and well worth it.
I'm just super excited for the drop :D

I love the ToT. It's one of those rides where the anticipation is much worse than the actual ride. :D

It's a great adrenaline rush and beautifully themed. It also has some of the most entertaining cast members in the park.

i adore this ride =] me, my cousin and my sisters record number of rides came up to 15 times over 5 days, by the time we left disney for home i had no voice left from screaming, and all three of us could recite the safety anouncement (the 'to our valued guests.... one) word for word (and i still can 2 years later :P) and could count down to the second when the first drop was gonna happen, though we never counted loud enough for others to hear us, we didnt want to ruin the ride for them =]

Can't wait to go on this again on my next trip. Its my fav ride and was devastated when I couldnt ride last year due to being pregnant (not that little Kiara wasnt worth the torture of skipping my fav ride xD) I usually have an at least once per day rule for it, if I could I could totally spend all day on it!

I don\'t know when, I don\'t know how, but I know something is starting right now.
Watch and you\'ll see, someday I\'ll be Part of Your World.

Last time we visited they weren't available. Also, they only have been available in French as far as I can remember, organized at specific days only and are not free of charge.

If you stay at a Disney hotel, you can book them at the concierge or reception. Whilst in the parks, you can either head to Studio Services (right hand side after entry of the Studios) or City Hall (left hand after entry of Disneyland Park).

Since Disneyland Paris doesn't have any new attractions opening in 2011, wouldn't it be a good year to bring randomised drop profiles to the Tower of Terror? In 2011 the ride will have been open for 3 years, running the same non-randomised drop profile.

That ride has to be the biggest adrenaline rush ever, I absolutely love it but alas wifey and daughter are terrified of it :(

But a random rise and drop sequence would be awesome - almost like a new ride altogether

Yes that would be great. I loved the random rise and drop sequence in WDW. I'm sure Disney will add the random sequence to promote a "NEW" ride.

I'd imagine they'd go for a similar marketing campaign as they did at WDW with "the Tower is in control". I'm not sure on the random drops, I found it meant that we had some good rides, and others where it wasn't so exciting, only getting 1 full drop and then a series of bouncing.

If they did do this, I'd love to see the ride get a light package similar to Hotel High Tower at Tokyo, with a lightning strike effect and smoke blasting out the top doors! That is a major enhancement to their Tower I think.
