Does anybody know anything about ride closures/ character meets of summer 2018? Going First week in July and wondering if it will be all about marvel in the studios

It's December 2017.....
No, there's no information yet.
We don't even have information yet about the Princesses and Pirates Festival that takes place in Spring.
For the Summer of 2018, information will come somewhere in Spring 2018.

What we currently know is Summer of Heroes is due to run from June 10th to September 30th. The new Marvel Stunt Show will open at this time and the promotional materials mentioned Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Spider-Man, Star-Lord and Black Widow appearing for the first time, some at least as Meet and Greets.

Over in the main park the 25th anniversary is being extend through to September so that is likely to be pretty much the same as this summer.

Phantom Manor will definitely be closed next summer as it's undergoing a huge refurb. Other things might be closed for a couple of weeks here and there for maintenance but they do try to avoid the main summer season where they can.
