Has anyone stayed here recently and do they ever have the characters appearing there for a quick photo?

Was there last week and there was a character each morning at breakfast doing photos in a side room. The queue was massive but then it was school holidays. I saw Mickey and he was in his classic clothes rather than themed to hotel and a photographer was there too.

That is good to know and you had not paid for character breakfast?

The hotel meets are totally different from character breakfasts. The charcters meet outside usually in the hotel foyer and you queue to meet them this is free. In Plaza gardens you pay extra and you have a buffet hot breakfast. The characters will visit your table and mingle with guests. Other non paying guests may not enter.

Yes there were classic characters every day in May when we went, the queue starts just outside the shop and there's a sign to show who the character will be. Get there early and you can be first in the line before heading to the parks. Times are displayed on the little board at the front of the queue. We met Pluto but saw Mickey and Donald there too.

Do you know what time in the mornings the characters where there from?

I can't quite remember, either 8am or 9am.
