Looking for some advice as this will be our first ever trip to DLP!?!

We are 2 adults and 2 kids aged 6 & 4 and are staying at the end of April for 4 nights, 5 days in the Sequoia Lodge Golden Forest.

It would be great if anyone could answer a few questions for me:)

1. We are flying into Orly Airport, is there anywhere to hire Buggys there as I believe the ones in DLP are not great?

2. Is there free Wi-Fi available in the Golden Forest Bedrooms?

3. We have the Half Board Plus included in our stay and I understand we can eat at a number of buffets but what does "Table Service" specifically mean?

4. As we are there for 5 days I would think we have plenty of time to probably see and do most things but what would be a suggested itinerary and something we could aim for each day without burning us out?
As the kids are still young enough at 6 and 4 we would not be looking to go on some of the more thrilling rides.

5. What kind of "snacks" and "drinks" are available in the Golden Forest Lounge in the Afternoon and what time does it open and close at?
Also what time is breakfast served from and to in the Golden Forest Lounge?

6. What are the best restaurants to eat in which would be comfortable with kids of 6 and 4 and we can use our half board vouchers?

7. Is it necessary to book a table in the restaurants and is this something that can be done online or do you actually need to call while you are there?

8. Is the Wild West Dinner show worth it for a 6 & 4 year old and can we use our half board vouchers as part payment for it?

Howdy I can only a answer a few questions as we're sort of newbies ourselves (returning for our second trip in 19 days) but we've stayed in the golden forest previously and will be staying again this time round.

There is WiFi in the bedroom, it kept our son busy whilst we were relaxing after a busy day in the park. You also get it down in the bar area which was good as he watched Netflix whilst me and the husband had a nightcap.

Table service means sitting at a table and having a waiter/waitress come and take your order instead of a buffet style restaurant which means you get up to get your food.

I would recommend taking in the parades, shows and meeting some of the characters. If rides are not a priority you could always wander around the park taking in the sites. There's magic in every little corner. Skull rock is fun to explore and The Swiss family Robinson tree house will be open. Don't forget to go upstairs in the castle to look at the stain glass windows and then go under the castle to see the dragon! Scared the hell out of our son last year, I never saw a kid run so fast in my life. Turned round and he was gone lol.

I'll say Annette's is the most kid friendly in the way of food and atmosphere in our opinion, it's diner style food like chips, burgers, hotdogs which most kids eat, some waiters are on rollerskates and the theming is nice as it's like 1950's style. We've enjoyed it there. I'll also say Hunters Grill in the Sequoia Lodge is a nice place to eat. Calming atmosphere and it's a buffet with plenty to choose from. Ive heard good things about Chez Remy in the studios, but have heard that kids can struggle with the food. There is a menu avaliable on the site that gives you an idea on what's avaliable I would love to eat there but have one incredibly fussy child so alot of the restaurants are out of the question for us.

As your going in April it'll be a bit busier I reckon so I would book your tables to make sure you get a place. You can book once your there using the phone in your room or at the concierge desk. It's good to book a little earlier though as you may not get a place.

Buffalo Bill's I've heard mixed reviews about. The food is like bbq style with chicken drumsticks, corn bread, sausages, chili but some people have said it's hit and miss. The show though is fun to watch I went there yeeeeears ago as a kid and can still remember the show fondly. And the way the seats are set you don't have to buy a higher priced seat in fear of not getting a good view. The seats are staggered upwards so no matter where you sit you'll still see.

That's as much help as I can offer. There's plenty of people on here who are much more informative then me who have been more times then what I have lol. I'm still picking up hints and tricks now and it's our second trip. Have a really good holiday!

I am definitely not a Newby (went 17 times  ) but I never stayed at the gfc so I can't help you with that. But I hope I can be of any use for your other questions

If you want to be really sure your restaurant of choice is available you can book 60 days in advance by telephone. The number is +33160304050. They speak English and frensch. Just be aware that you are calling to France!
I just go to city hall on the first day of my stay to book the restaurants though.

If you have fuzzy eaters I would recommend the buffet style restaurants.  They al have a kids section with nuggets and suchlike.

I would higly recommend www.dlpguide.com for a lot of disney information like restaurant menu's, atraction closures, intinararys, tips tricks and more.

Don't forget to use your hotel fast passes and if you do want to do any thrill rides you can make use of the baby switch service. It is your holiday too!

And my number one tip. Don't run and stress!! Stop relax enjoy the magic and the smile on your children's faces.

Hello, I agree with both above. I'd say you are most likely to get your money's worth at buffets and you might want to consider paying a bit more to do a character lunch or breakfast.
Personally I wouldn't do buffalo bills on your first trip as it costs a lot and I don't think the food is that great. Might not be very interesting for your 4 year old either.

The end of April isn't a holiday so you should be fine waiting to book your restaurants until you arrive.
For buggys. I'm not sure about the airport. But the dlp ones aren't too bad. Mostly you'll be leaving it outside rides anyway.

We've been to dip every year for the past 5 years and have been to buffalo bill each time cos we love it so much. Our kids are now 17, 11, 7, 5, and 3. They've been with us every visit and always ask to go back. Especially if this is a first time / one off for you us say go for it. It's not something you'll get to do anywhere else.  Also whilst you can use your vouchers as partial payment bear in mind that you only get one voucher per night of your stay. While they are valid for arrival and departure day you'll still have one meal to pay for
If you book with disney before you go you get a decent percent off anyway which I think works out better value.

Would highly recommend BBWS we went dec with my 5yr old and 3year old grandkids they absolutely loved it especially the banging of cutlery  thats encouraged in part of the show. Parades and dreams is a must, we love doing the character meets,usually in the morning then do rides wander about and shopping later. We go with a rough idea of what we want to do each day ( planned by looking at previous weeks programme before we go). We like to be flexable in case we see that unexpected meet and greet or show we werent aware of. There seems to be mixed reviews of all restaurants - its gonna depend on individuals likes and dislikes. We have done buffets- plaza garden, restaurant de stars , inventions, Table service - cafe mickey, ADC - some visits better than others. ADC though we have been 3 times and i have never liked the food at any we pay just for the chance to meet the princesses and prince. Our favourite counter service are - cafe hyperion, colonel hathis, cowboy cookout, hakuna matata
