Hi guys, I'm off to Disney again on Wednesday (whoop) until New Years and after getting engaged there in the summer, me and my fiancé are heavily in the wedding reception planning stage. (Disney themed of course!)

We want each of our tables at the reception (18-20 tables) to be associated with a Disney character and ideally we would like a photo of us and that character to be on each table. We've got 3 and a half days in the park and want to get about 18 meets. We are annual pass holders so will use EMH and we are booked in at Cafe Mickey on the first night.

Does anyone have any tips/advice on how to meet characters without using loads of time as we do want to get on loads of rides, shop etc. Thank you!

You're going at one of the busiest times of the year so you'll be doing a lot of queuing, both to meet the characters and to go on the rides.  Perhaps you could go at a quieter time then you'll spend less time queuing to meet the characters and will have more time to go on rides too

Your only hope would be to find when the characters come out at the Studios all in one go and there is about 10 of them.
You can literally go from character to character but seems to be luck when it occurs.

Thanks all! I've been at New Year before so prepared for the busy-ness (although never find it too bad). Unfortunately another trip before the wedding is not affordable.

I guess I'll have to see what I manage at cafe mickey and then go for it and see what we can do!

Sadly I was incredibly unwell for almost the whole trip (I ended up in the medical centre) so missed nearly 2 full days of magic so had to focus on rides on the last day (I'm more a rides than characters person). Luckily the parks were soooo quiet on NYE so managed to get on absolutely loads including BTM twice so happy with that.
