Hi we have booked the merry Xmas lunch for noon on Xmas day. We plan to do couple hours in the park then come back out for lunch then spend rest of afternoon and evening in park right up until the dreams light show. What can you recommend us doing for something to eat in the evening? We don't want to leave the Disney park so are looking for somewhere nice within the park, however we don't want an elaborate expensive meal as we would've had something large at lunchtime. Any ideas? We have a 6 and 11 year old.  Would like somewhere we can go and sit down and rest our legs but not too fussy or expensive? But equally somewhere nice as its Xmas!

We went over Christmas once, and it absolutely packed,so the restaurants will be packed as well.
I can recommend the lucky nugget in frontierland, not too expensive and they do have some entertainment at times.
Hope you have a lovely time,it's our favourite time of year to be in Disneyland .

We were the 2 years ago and did the following

1 - Extra Magic Hours
2 - Relaxed breakfast
3 - Open presents
4 - Slow walk through the village to New York hotel
5 - Merry X-mas lunch
6 - Into the park, parade shops etc
7 - Back to hotel bar for a few drinks then bed

I can recommend the Cowboy Cookout, it is lovely and Christmassy with a real roaring log fire. Inexpensive, tasty and normally the quietest out of the the counter service restaurants. Hope you have a wonderful time!
