I know there are the set meet and greets for Buzz, Mickey and now Spiderman.  When we visited in 2014 there was a meet and greet with lots of evil characters near to cinemagique - I remember meeting Gaston.  Does anything like that still happen?

Those characters were part of the Stars 'n Cars set, which ended in June 2015.
There are now occasionally random characters, but this is very rarely.
You just have to be lucky.

I've seen photos from this week of Belle and Gaston, Mulan and Sulley as random meet and greets in the studio :-)  Fingers crossed that'll be the  case in a few weeks.
