Hello all,
Last visited 2005 with wife, now have 2 children (six and eight) we are arriving in august on direct Eurostar at about 13:30 staying in hotel Cheyenne for 6 nights should we go to hotel and book breakfast slots first or hit the parks. is it possible to have breakfast in park.

I booked breakfast in the hotel when I checked in. You can have breakfast at a few points around the park and its well worth doing :)

Thanks gemmasteele84, As we have Disney express don't need to go straight to hotel but understand breakfast slots will be more limited  if we try and book them after being in park all day say at 11pm. Can we even check into the hotel that late ? really cant remember what we did before ! !

Normally they should ask you about what you want to do for breakfast when you check in.
If they don't, don't hesitate to ask them and book your times then, and ask about breakfast in the park options :)

We went direct to the parks and checked in about 10 pm, ask the reasonable shots had gone,  it was 7 am or 10:30 for the next two days,  after that experience is reconvened checking in straight away to get the time slots you want

Note that it is not mandatory to use the breakfast slot that you book, or even book at all. The breakfast tickets are used for crowd control purposes at the restaurants. You can go whenever you like – but if it's busy enough that there's a queue, people with a ticket for the right slot will be skipped ahead of you.
