Do you have to buy a meal to go in cafe mickey in the late evening or can you just go in for a cup of tea?

It's a character meal restaurant only, which means you can have breakfast, lunch and/or dinner there. The most affordable option is breakfast, especially if you're staying in one if the Disney Hotels and you pay a small extra fee. You can also use some meal plans for lunch or dinner.

I think the food is of decent quality and with the characters as well, its good value compared to other eateries in the parks. We did lunch there, and will likely do it again this year

Yeah we're doing breakfast in the morning, we just wanted somewhere to have a quick drink before the journey home
