Hi, we are going to dlp in just under 2 weeks and my son has said he would love to see the Eiffel Tower at night when it is all lit up, has anyone else done this, just wondering if we would be better to drive into paris or to go on train? ;)

Just looking at the RER / Métro map, it's quite a trip. But it may well be faster than getting into Paris by car, haven't done either to be honest, just looking at a map here. ;)
You can take the RER A to Châtelet Les Halles, transfer to the RER B to Notre-Dame and then take the RER C to Champ de Mars (which is one of two stations near the Eifel Tower).

We went today , journey there did as post above, on return we took the metro from Bir-Hakiem to Charles De Gaulle Etoile, changed there to RER line back to Chessy, seemed a lot easier than the trip there.

Yep. We did this two weeks ago. get the RER A train to charles de gaulle etoile station in paris (45 mins from Disney). Then get the metro line 6 to either trocadero for agreat view from across the river or bir-Hakeim on the same side of the river as the Eiffel tower. At the train station as k for a mobilis ticket (16 euro) for adults and paris visite ticket for children.
