Hey everyone, just booked to go in december for a week at the sequoia lodge hotel staying in one of the golden forest rooms. Anyone had any experiences of staying in one of these rooms and what can we expect? Also does anything happen around christmas time in dinseyland paris?

Perfect time and perfect hotel. We have already booked for the beginning of December for this year as we had such a fab time in 2013. Sequoia Lodge has a roaring fire in the centre of the bar which is lovely to sit by in the evening after a day in the parks. Have stayed at this hotel quite a few times now, mainly at Christmas, but last year went for the Golden Forest option. To us it was the icing on the cake. You will find some reviews on other sites saying it's not worth the extra, but they had paid considerably more and I can see why they didn't feel they were getting value for money as you don't get loads extra but little touches that make you feel special.

Christmas is without a doubt the best time to go in my opinion. We have gone in other months of the year but nothing beats the Christmas magic and atmosphere. Weekends are busy, but weekdays are really quiet so you can go on rides over and over again. It's a totally relaxed time and you get the added bonus of all the Christmas extras.
