In August Dylan and I got annual passes and with our main trip booked for Christmas we planned a cheeky trip in Oct as Dylan had a couple of days off school!

We had lots of fun, the parks were really quiet during the week, we even got on Crush within 15-20 mins! The first time we have been on this ride and we both LOVED it

Dylan didn't think the Shadowman would recognise him this year as he had grown up :lol: But as soon as the villains came out Friday morning he came straight over and said 'Dylan my friend how are you'!! Such an amazing CM!!

We arrived late Thursday 11th-Sat 13th. Got most things done on the Friday as Saturday was not only packed but it poured with rain nearly all day too Was lovely to be back for Halloween though x

Besides the rain on saturday how was the weather? Cold? Here in Portugal, we're still wearing t-shirts, so i'm a bit concerned!
We're going next monday early am! Cant wait!! And your pics really help getting in the right mood! Any advise you can give? Where did you stay?

We stayed at the Explorers Hotel this trip, room was the same as most of the Disney hotels to be honest. Where are you staying?

The weather was ok, we did wear a coat but wasn't too cold, just wet so take a poncho if you have one just in case

Going mid-week you should be lucky with the crowds, dont think we queued for longer than 20 minutes Friday but on Saturday most rides had over 40 min waits!

We'll be staying in Sequoia Lodge, we're traveling with our 5 y old and 22 months old (and my mom) and we wanted to be close to the parks!
I'll take 3 of those plastic things for the rain (is that a poncho?? LOL), we bought them in August 2010 in DLP when it started to rain really heavy all of a sudden. Also coats for mornings and evenings.
20 min queues is fine! Last time we had some 60m queues and over probably.
It'll be fantastic!

Yeah thats what i meant with the poncho We've had ours for years and take them every trip just in case

Hopefully you wont have queues like last time then, we had horrendous queues in August but i think once you have been a few times you aren't so bothered about the queues, well we weren't anyway. Just being in Disney is enough for me

I'm not that bothered about queues either! My only concern is that we're going with the baby and i'm not sure how she will behave on them! But we'll have to cope and manage!

I wish we could go back for Christmas! ahhh

Thank you, im on countdown already, 65 days!!! Christmas is our 'real' trip this year so really looking forward to it
