You even went to the Asterix park... How does it compare? I've never been there....

The two parks are different in many ways.  Parc Asterix is well worth a visit and I would heartily recommend it.  

It is far cheaper than DLP, there are more thrill rides (higher, faster and better) however it lacks the cohesive theming of DLP.

The food is not great but the shows are amazing.  We only had time to see the dolphin show and the Legionnaires show.  Both great.  Hopefully Sarah and I will write a trip report tonight!

It is half hour drive away near Charles De Gaulle airport.

Public transport is RER into Paris, then out to CDG on the RER.  Alternatively TGV to Charles De Gaulle airport then shuttle bus to Parc Asterix
