brochure not to be launched in ireland until 15th of november so we dont have any ideas of what prices we are to expect yet but judging by the response its going to be expensive

Quote from: "Columbiad"Shame Peter isn't included considering his role in the "Dreams" show.
In the official Disney brochure, he's projected onto the castle and is surrounded by fountains that are probably from World of Colour. :)

Got my brochure a few days ago , It looks quite good , but the prices are eye watering , a trip in Nov this year is £400 , same thing next year £500 , that is a 25 % increase in a year ,.I think I priced this for the Sequoia Lodge , low season . Disney strangely give 25 % off the 2012 price if you book before April 30th , which makes it exactly the same pricing ; but after that it is a huge price jump !!!

I think I am being a bit anal about the brochure, but I don't understand why they devote  two pages to Walt Disney Studios and include Sleeping beauties castle which we all know is in Disneyland park but omit the Tower of terror! it just seems sloppy!! I did notice a little note at the bottom of a couple of pages "Visuals not contractural" So I guess they are covering themselves I also dislike the bottom right hand corner of the pages being yellow with white print, difficult in most lights to read the small print and the guys that design these things are supposed to be professionals!!

I thought that, too! It was hard to read when it was dark outside and I had the lamps on.

Very impressed with the brochure. Fantastic images and a lovely combination of classic and contemporary that combines the best aspects of the old brochures and the new ones. They seem to be showcasing the park more and more swell which is good.

Shame vey little is new or exciting though.

I've just browsed through the new brochure and I have to say I'm again disappointed. I admit there is an improvement, but compared with other Disney brochures from the 90ies or Europa Park it is again a cheap catalogue.

That's what I expect from a nice brochure:

Ten years ago, all themeparks learned from Disney, now Disney can learn from them.

It looks like no fireworks for this season...but at least we have a new water show instead so I dont mind :)

Exactly Dagobert,
The Europa-Park Brochure is a brillant advertisement for the main thing, the Theme Park.
The Disney Brochure gives each theme park exactly two pages, with the Studios reduced to Toy Story Play Land with the Castle as their centrepiece. The main focus is on hotels, the obligatory "don't you dare to miss it" and other stuff that could easily be reduced to a few pages. I remember the nineties, when each land had it's own double page spread.
If I was merely a themepark fan I couldn't find one good reason why I should go to DLP.
It seems that today they are only milking their franchise instead of delivering top notch attractions and they don't even try to pretend otherwise.

In fact I completely agree with both of you. My inner design-student just gets the better of me and geeks out when the glossy pictures come out. :P
