It looks like the new lights are appearing on the castle already! And the columns with the princesses.

I was expecting them to repaint some of the frames to match the castle's new colour scheme, but never mind.

The best thing about staying in the Sequoia is putting your feet up next to the log fire in the bar after coming out of the cold.

Hi MissDisneyIsMagical and littlebitofpixie do you both live in the United Kingdom(and if you are which part of the United Kingdom are you from).

Here the bbc weather outlook for the UK from October 26 to 27 November 2011:
Sunday 23 October 2011 to Sunday 30 October 2011
Autumn leaves will be blowing
Low pressure will remain to the west of the United Kingdom for the week ahead, bringing unsettled conditions with rain or showers on most days.
A slow-moving weather front will bring heavy rain and strong winds to western areas to start the week. Eastern parts meanwhile will have another very mild but breezy day on Monday.
A band of rain will push eastwards overnight on Monday with some gusty winds. Rain will then fall across much of northern and eastern England along with most of Scotland. Showers will follow to the southwest of both England and Wales.
Wednesday will be a day of sunshine and showers, with the showers most frequent and heavy towards Wales and the southwest.
Pressure will then build across the country towards the end of the week with showers generally fading away. The winds will fall light so any overnight clear spells will allow a touch of frost in rural areas, along with some mist and fog patches.

Monday 31 October 2011 to Sunday 6 November 2011
Any fireworks for the first week of November?
Low pressure will remain to the northwest of the United Kingdom bringing a west to southwesterly wind. Showers or longer spells of rain will affect all areas at times, with rather windy conditions, particularly in the west. Temperatures are likely to be close to average for the week.

Sunday 6 November 2011 to Sunday 27 November 2011
Any sign of a change?
The weather is likely to remain typically changeable for much of November, with bands of rain moving across the UK from the west.
There will also be some drier and brighter interludes in between the rain bands. The winds are expected to be mostly from the south or west, which means temperatures should be around or slightly above normal for much of the period.
However, occasional north-westerly winds may bring somewhat colder air in at times.
Rainfall amounts for the whole of the UK across the period are likely to be near normal and sunshine amounts are likely be either near or below normal. Night frosts are expected at times, especially across the north of the UK and in sheltered rural areas where winds fall light.

So unless they change the info on the bbc weather monthly outlook(is unlikely the will change the info on the bbc weather outlook) does not look like that we as United Kingdom are  suppose to have snow(maybe it be cold and icy but there no change of snow.

Thank you very much its a small world I'm from luton in the UK where are you from? I hope the weather stays similar to what you mentioned as although I do like the snow I can't stand going to work in it! Last yr when I went to Disney Paris it snowed overnight and it looked so magical the following morning but it was so cold

Totally agree meph

Hi its a small world, I'm from kent in UK. And that sounds good for weather. However snow around the parks would look beautiful i'm sure! But where my son cant walk, I'm glad that chance of snow's unlikely. Pushing a buggy is hard work in the snow! Lol...
Meph the sequioa lodge is so cosy for winter months, love it! Plus looking forward to the view from hotel room it was gorgeous last time.
I like winter for DLP summer is too hot & busy for my liking!

Umm, bit soon to be sure. Weather forecasts are not an exact science and long-term ones are little more than rough guesses! When we went the forecast just the day before said no snow: but snow is what we woke up to on the first day!

In any case, if you are going mid November onwards, brace yourselves for cold. There's a good reason why they dress the CMs in enormous thick coats and big scarves from October onwards. You can expect averages temps to be at least a couple of degrees under what it will be in the south of the UK at the same time.

Yes never trust the weather man! I expect it too be very cold, & wet. So have got thick coats, wellies, gloves ect. Going to put layers on this time to keep warm.
We went in end november 2009 & no snow but very wet, cold & lots of hail lol. No matter what the weather is, aslong as your prepared it doesn't matter :) disney's one of those places it dont really matter lol.
